The Fiorenza Lounge Chair by Arflex was originally designed by Franco Albini in 1952. It was actually a development of an old Albini design from 1940. The first edition of the Fiorenza Lounge Chair was manufactured by Arflex in 1952. It  originally featured two elastic belts on the sides which were holding the seat. In 1956 a new model came out, this time with drop down vertical legs and without supporting which eliminated the belts and added a sleek modern look to the whole design. The third version came out in 1956. It initially featured foam rubber filling then replaced by non deformable differentiated density polyurethane foam.

This gorgeous and historic chair features a wood structure made of solid beech wood painted black and a beige non removable 100% cotton velvet cover What makes the Fiorenza Lounge Chair a wonderful example of that connection between Italian Mid Century and Modern design is its ergonomic design combined with comfort and modernity.

This set of two Lounge Chairs is a 2000's production and features a beautiful beige cotton velvet and black painted legs.
